Rules about Attendance Credits
Attendance credits are automatically given out to students who ATTEND in-person, TWO consecutive classes in a row. Just sign the attendance sheet at the front of the room for each class you attend and the professor will do the rest.
One attendance credit is worth a 24-hour extension from the due date on any late assignment. Credits only apply to assignments which are worth marks towards your final mark. That is, worksheets and obstacle problems do NOT count for marks and so attendance credits do not apply to them.
Occasionally, the professor may offer the class a DEAL, to earn additional credits.
DEAL #1: Here's a real DEAL to take advantage of:
if you sign up for a peer tutoring account and attend at least a one hour session with a Java peer tutor, you will receive an extra attendance credit. The Peer Tutor must email or provide a note to the professor, stating that you and he met. Remember, that those who take advantage of the free peer tutoring service on a regular basis, statistically score 10% higher in the course.
